Safety in the Rope Course<\/h1>\n

Our security system<\/h2>\n

Our Clic-it security system offers with the corresponding keys the highest security level for high ropes courses recommended by the High Ropes Course Association.
\nThe Clic-it is a permanent safety system with „communicating karabiners“, which prevents a complete unhooking. Especially for visitors who come to the high ropes course with children, youth groups and school classes, this system offers the possibility for a stress-free climbing experience.<\/p>\n

On request, our customers from 18 years of age can also use the conventional safety system with one-handed karabiners.<\/p>\n

The equipment<\/h2>\n

All participants will be provided with climbing equipment consisting of climbing harness and safety carabiners. Only after a safety briefing by our staff is every participant ready for the climbing tour.<\/p>\n

During the tour through the courses our trained staff will be happy to assist you and give you helpful tips.<\/p>\n

Tested facility \/ certification<\/h2>\n

Our facility is certified by an external inspector according to the standards of the European Ropes Course Association (ERCA) and is regularly checked and maintained by qualified personnel and our safety officer Mrs. Ludwig.<\/p>\n

Helpful information<\/h2>\n

Please bring appropriate clothing such as jeans and sturdy shoes. Finger rings, long necklaces and scarves as well as large earrings have to be taken off while climbing.<\/p>\n

For safety reasons we reserve the right to leave the high ropes course closed in case of thunderstorms or storms.<\/p>\n

No helmet obligation<\/h2>\n

We have also abolished the helmet obligation in our high ropes course and thus adapted to the chain of arguments of high ropes courses without helmet obligation. In the course of our annual risk assessment we were also able to establish that climbing safety in our facility is unrestricted even without helmets.<\/p>\n

We made this decision in consultation with an external expert.<\/p>\n

For your information: Climbing in a high ropes course is in principle comparable to the use of a playground, and here too the risk of injury is reduced to a minimum due to the construction.<\/p>\n
